Alison Rennison
Alison has over 25 years’ experience of successful leadership in business; developing strategy, building teams and delivering change.
Before moving into executive coaching and consultancy, Alison was Managing Director of Barclays Cards and Loans at Barclaycard, leading a multi £billion credit card and consumer lending business. She previously held several other director-level positions in the Barclays Group, including Director, Premier Banking, Chief Operating Officer of the Private Bank and Director of the telephone banking business.
Alison has extensive experience of leading and working with senior teams and has always been motivated by helping individuals and teams find ways of developing and using their full potential. Her calm, determined, encouraging and empathetic style inspires others to take on new challenges and to draw on and grow their unique range of personal resources and qualities.
Alison is a Certified Coach through ICF accredited training and is qualified in the use of psychometric tools, including MBTI and Firo-B. Her other academic and business qualifications are: BA(hons) in English from Durham University, ACIB – Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (Beckett Memorial prize winner), DipFS – Chartered Institute of Bankers (Prize for Business Planning and Control), MSI – Member of Securities Institute.
